Distribution

FS Distribution Ltd has a fleet of liveried Mercedes vehicles for distribution throughout the United Kingdom.

Our fleet includes:

• 1 x 3.5 ton (gross capacity) van. Load capacity 1200 kilos.
• 1 x 4.5 ton (gross capacity) van. Load capacity 2300 kilos.
• 3 x 18 ton (gross capacity) trucks. Load capacity 9500 kilos.

Our distribution fleet will accommodate wide-ranging campaign requirements, including deliveries and collections from both business and domestic addresses.

We can action both regional and national campaigns with home deliveries to field staff of any promotional equipment, e.g. demonstration stands, product, uniform, pre-packed kits, etc. Both palletised and non-palletised deliveries are possible- furthermore specialist requirements, such as refrigerated vehicles, can be supplied.

We have a team of professional drivers, all with HGV licenses, who are committed to the success of every delivery. Our service includes pre-delivery arrangements (e.g. phone calls to field staff to arrange a suitable delivery time) and placement of goods in a requested location- e.g. in garden shed, in a garage, etc.

Carriage

In addition to our own delivery fleet, we use several reputable carrier companies for rapid response distribution. We have excellent, long standing relationships with these companies and are able to provide the best possible carriage service at favourable rates.

The carrier companies that we work with include:

• Initial City Link
• Parcel Force
• Royal Mail
• DHL
• Transaction International (pallet carrier)

The carriage services that we offer include:

• Next Day delivery to UK addresses (Monday – Friday)
• 48-Hour delivery to Republic of Ireland and Europe
• 'Signature Required' delivery- i.e. where goods must be received and signed for by a specific, stated consignee
• 'Leave Safe/No Signature Required' delivery- i.e. where goods are not valuable and can be 'left safe' in consignee's porch/doorstep/garage etc, meaning consignee does not have to be at home to receive delivery
• Trackable deliveries with POD information available (i.e. date and time the delivery was received with details of where it was left/who signed for it)

We can also offer the following non-standard services:

• Next Day timed deliveries (pre-12, pre-10.30am and pre-9.30am) within the UK
• Saturday deliveries
• Third Party Collection of goods with return to FS
• Third Party Collection of goods with carriage onwards to another address
